Academic Programs at ICMS
Diploma- and Associate Programs in 1 – 2 years
ICMS offers a 1 year Diploma and a 2 year Associate Degree Program, which will give you an excellent foundation for your career. The Diploma and Associate Program are both business majors, but you can pick your specialty in the following areas: Sport, Property, Hospitality, International Tourism, Event or Retail Management.
If you chose the Associate Program you will have the chance to do a 9 month industry training as part of the program. This training will take place between your first and second year of studies and ICMS will not only help you find the internship of your dreams, but it is also a paid internship. What a great way to not only get a great education, but also first work experience.
Bachelor Degree in 3 years
At the International College of Management Sydney, you can earn a Bachelor of Business Administration within 3 years. In collaboration with Macquarie University Sydney, ICMS is offering a degree with majors in Sport, Property, Hospitality, International Tourism, Event- or Retail Management. The Bachelor degree with the major in “Hospitality Management” has been developed in collaboration with the renowned “Cesar Ritz Colleges” in Switzerland.
Master Degree in 1 year
You already have a bachelor degree, but want to strengthen your academic background with a Master degree? In cooperation with the worldwide renown Macquarie University Sydney, ICMS is offering two Master programs which can be completed within one year.
The Master of International Business (MIB) offers a wide variety of required courses, which cover everything you need to know about International Business and give you the tools you need for an international career. But there is also a range of elective courses that you can pick according to your career goals and interests.
The second Master degree you can do at ICMS/ Macquarie University is the so called Master of Commerce (Mcom). If you decide to do this Master you can pick from following majors: Management, Marketing, Tourism & Hospitality and since 2009 you can also choose Sport Management.
Even if your Bachelor degree is not in business, you can still be admitted for the Master Programs. You have to take the preparation course and earn a Graduate Certificate Program for business, offered at ICMS.
Study Abroad in Australia
Of course you can also stay a shorter period of time abroad (6-12 month) and you can still experience studying abroad in Australia and built up and international network and of course improve your English skills. ICMS offers a wide variety of courses and programs with majors in Sport Management, Property Management, Hospitality Management, International Tourism Management, Event Management and Retail Management.
Business Preparation Program – 1 Trimester
To make it as easy as possible to get used to your new learning environment, ICMS is offering a Business Preparation Program for international students. This is the ideal preparation to make your study abroad program a successful experience from day one!
